Hello Wolf Pack Families,

Snow!! Winter clearly welcomed us this morning!

Our wolves enjoyed celebrating Halloween with a fun assembly lead by our ASB this week, while teachers are wrapping up our first quarter this year. Thank you, to Cherie Holme for hosting the Screenagers movie on Wednesday night and a shout out to Mrs. Nord and our orchestras who performed at their first concert of the year Thursday evening.

  • Book Fair in the Library Nov. 7-10. Family Night is Wednesday from 3:00-5:00 pm.
  • Veterans' Day Assembly on Thursday, Nov. 10th at 9:45 am if you would like to attend.
  • End of 1st quarter on Nov. 10th.
  • No School on Friday, Nov. 11th in honor of Veterans' Day.

Scholastic Book Fair at Selkirk - November 7-10

We’re excited to invite you to our upcoming Scholastic Book Fair. Hosted by our PTO, this event is an opportunity for students of all ages to build their home libraries and further their love of reading. As always, all purchases benefit our school.


Our Book Fair offers eWallet, a safe and secure alternative to cash. Simply create a free account to add funds and/or invite family and friends to contribute so your child can select their own books. Any unused funds can be spent at The Scholastic Store Online or to fund a future eWallet.

If you can’t make it to the Fair, then shop at our school’s Online Book Fair. All orders ship directly to your home, and shipping is free for book orders over $25. Your online orders will also benefit our school.

Yearbook is Looking for Sponsors

We are looking for sponsorships for our Yearbook program. There are many packages available for businesses, individuals/Friends of Yearbook. Sponsorships will help purchase more cameras, technology, summer camps and overall bolster our yearbook by allowing us to add more content while maintaining an affordable price of only $20.00. Positives for our Wolf PACK

Congrats to Ashla B who won Mrs. Hurst's French Toast Maple Bars. She got to pick 3 friends to join her for those and also got to select 3 staff members to deliver one to!


Our next 5 raffles include:

  • a dozen mini donuts from Hello, Sugar
  • Board Game Time for a class period of your choice
  • Corn Hole in the Commons for a class period of your choice

Students can earn raffle tickets by trading in 10 Wolf Bucks or by being selected by a teacher for a PACK Character Award. Students can select which raffle they most want to enter.

Join our Lego Club!!!

Attention everyone! There is a Lego Club that is going to meet every Wednesday starting November 9. It will be in Mrs. Kirsch’s room 217 after school until 3:30pm. Don’t forget to sign up on Final Forms!

SVT - STEM camp

SVT will be holding a STEM Camp on Saturday, December 3rd! These are fun hands-on days where students can explore 3-5 STEM programs per session.

HOSA Biomed Camp

On Saturday, November 19th from 9am – 11am. University High school HOSA students (future health professionals) will engage campers in a variety of activities that relate to health care and the medical field. This camp is open to current 2nd-8th graders. The cost of camp is $30.00 per student. We can only accept 40 students at this time, register early to reserve your spot. All funds raised will support HOSA. Enrollment forms may be dropped off (7:00 AM-2:30 PM) at University High school. Please plan to pay with cash or a check. Checks should be made to University High School HOSA.
