Winchendon Weekly News
Updates from the Winchendon Public Schools
From the desk of the Superintendent:
October is National Bullying Prevention Month. The message we want to convey to our students and our community is that Winchendon Public Schools hopes to unite in kindness, courage and inclusion. Bullying can happen anywhere people come together. Ignoring it does not make it go away. Silence and inaction are not acceptable responses to bullying.
This month we pledge to reinforce the message that everyone deserves to feel safe and supported. Encourage your child to treat others with kindness and help include those who are left out.
Show your support on October 19, National Unity Day, by wearing orange as we stand together against bullying.
