Wednesday, August 21 - Working for a livin'! Wear business casual attire
*ELA resource training for all grade level teachers (full day - details to come)
*Department meetings for other certified staff (AMP, library, guidance, sped)
Thursday, August 22 Superhero Day - wear your favorite superhero shirt/attire, then (the opposite of Superman) you will change into your business casual attire for Open House

Where Are All the Docs?
Within this drive you will find several folders with documents you may need:
- Beginning of the year - lots of information that you need to get things started (schedules, staff handbook, committees, listing of all staff, etc.)
- Important Dates - all important dates have been entered on our Moreau Heights Master Calendar within Google calendar. (Be sure you can view this calendar - if not, notify Sue) If you prefer a listing on dates by individual topic, there are some in this folder.
- Morning Meetings Plans - This is where ALL lesson plans and resources for Morning Meeting lessons will be placed. You will find materials already in this folder for the first 11 weeks.
- PBS Resources - All resources you need to pertain to daily PBS implementation are here (bootcamp schedule, Charger Cart schedule and example tickets, etc.)
- Social Skills Book/Lesson Resources - This is a place we have placed some resources about books that would support social skills instruction in your classroom. These books could be used to reinforce skills you see as a need in your classroom. In addition to the book title, there are conversation starter questions and activities with many of the suggestions.

If you have not already gotten your copy of the book, please come get one from the office.
Dawn's Dish
Please bring your old red PBIS binders to our meeting on August 22nd. You will not need to keep anything inside them. Please discard all contents, as we will be giving you new inserts for this binder. If you do not have a red PBIS binder that you can find, please email me back and let me know so I can round one up or bring another binder you have that you would like to house the information in.
As we continue to work on curriculum, there continue to be updates. Curriculum is a fluid every changing document. You will want to make sure you log in to school net to look at the new pacing guides. Additionally, make sure that you look for things that have been revised. Many of you print out the units for your reference, which is great, but know that there may have been changes since you printed last. It's always a good idea to go back in and check to make sure there isn't a newly revised document. All JCPS curriculum documents have a revised date to help you know you have the most current information. You can click here to log in to school net and view the curriculum.
