Announcing Techie Tuesday Tips ...

To help you keep up with the latest technology news your media specialists have decided to start sharing a monthly technology newsletter called Tuesday Techie Tips! We hope you enjoy our first edition and encourage you to submit any ideas you would like us to cover in future editions.

Sharing Google Drive folders between teachers and students

As many of you have discovered the hard way, there are currently no email addresses associated with student Google accounts. This makes it difficult to share files back and forth. We have a solution and we want to share it with you! Click on the button below to find out how!

Check out our eBooks and Audiobooks!

Did you know the FHHS Learning Commons has over 1400 eBooks and audiobooks for you to check out? You can locate the selection under the Learning Commons tab by selecting "Find an eBook". Login and password will be the same as your computer password.

If you would rather read on a device, look for the Brytewave app and then search for Francis Howell High. Need a quick lesson? We would love to show you more!

Google Account Resets

Your Learning Commons staff can now reset Google passwords for you! Michelle and Sue are only a phone call away at extensions 4727 and 4751. If they are unavailable, try Lori at extension 4732.

New Access Code for EasyBib

Easy Bib is an awesome resource tool. In order to provide data to support the purchase of this program, each school now has a coupon code that students and teachers will need to enter one time in order to sync their account to their school Learning Commons. No previous saved information will be lost. In order to ensure that students (and teachers) receive all premium services, please enter the coupon code howellhs2015 (found under Settings) before using this resource for the first time this year. If you have any questions, please call Sue or Michelle.
