Project 111
Most of us would NEVER consider drinking while driving! Yet! Texting while driving can put you at a higher risk for a crash than drinking and driving.
Project 111 wants YOU to pledge to put your phone AWAY while driving! Here at Project 111 we know . . . the temptation to check those notifications is TOO BIG! This week your teen had the opportunity to PLEDGE to not drive distracted during lunch. Ask your teen if they signed their pledge. #IAMPROJECT111
Project 111 wants all of us to put our phones in our glove box or center console. Put it somewhere that you won’t be tempted to look at it! Even checking your phone at a stoplight hinders your safety! When you start driving – your mind is NOT on the road!
We need to drive with HEADS UP and EYES UP!

Fall Play Tickets are on Sale!
Get your tickets for the MHS production of Agatha Christie's "Murder on the Orient Express." Performances are at 7:00pm on October 28th, 29th and 30th at Central Auditorium. Ticket prices are $8/adult and $6/student. Doors open at 6:30pm.
We are very thankful to return to live performances this year! In order to do so, we have put in place a few measures to ensure social distancing for the security of our cast, crew, volunteers, and audience.
All tickets will be sold through an online system. All seats are preselected so there are no longer general admission seats. The system requires the purchaser to select their seats (similar to other venues like MCFTA). Once the seats are selected, the system automatically blocks out seats around the selected seats to comply with social distancing rules.
It’s super easy to get tickets and your tickets are delivered electronically to your email. And, it is completely contact-free!
We encourage purchasing tickets ahead of time, however, we will have one workstation set up prior to each show for lobby sales. The process will be the same as doing it from home (you will be required to fill out all of the information and select your seat(s) in order to purchase). To get the best seats and avoid a wait in line, purchase ahead!
Please follow the ticket purchase link below and share with friends and family! It's going to be a GREAT show!

ATTENDANCE REMINDER:
All absences must be verified within 48 hours (2 days) by the parent or guardian in order to receive an Excused absence. The Attendance Hotline number is: 923-5190. It is preferred that you call by noon on the day of the absence to help ensure the absence is excused the same day.
Doctor's notes to verify Medically Excused absences must be submitted to the Attendance Office within 2 weeks of the doctor's appointment and prior to exams. It is suggested that students submitting doctor's notes also have their parents call-in on the day of the absence. This will expedite the removal of the Unexcused absence from their record.
Students under the age of 18 that have excessive absences may be subject to a truancy petition to the Midland County Probate Court, in accordance with the protocols established by the 42nd District Court.
