April 7, 2020 ~ To all WSD Staff
Good Evening,
Given the latest guidance from our Department of Public Health and the CDC and in an effort to help slow the spread of COVID-19, we are requesting the following for those employees who are called into work in a District building:
Prior to arriving at your shift, please take your temperature at home and review the four questions below. (If you don’t have access to take your temperature at home, temporal thermometers with appropriate sanitization materials will be available at each of the following locations: LHS, THS, HHS, BPC, Admin Center, Support Services, and Transportation.)
Please do not report to work if:
Your temperature is 99.5 degrees or higher
AND/OR
You answer yes to any of the four questions below:
Do you have a new cough?
Have you felt feverish or had the chills without a fever?
Do you have shortness of breath?
Have you been directly exposed to someone who has tested positive for COVID-19?
If you answered yes to any of the questions about symptoms or fever, please do not report to work, and contact the COVID-19 Hotline at 636-949-1899. Please put in for sick leave, and let your supervisor know by text, email, or phone call.
Here are the specific locations of the thermometers should you need to utilize them:
Timberland: main entrance
Holt: back door for the kitchen area that leads outside at the back of the building
Liberty: near the door for the kitchen area on the left side of the building that leads outside
Administrative center: main door area where everyone signs in
Berry Place: as you walk into the main doors
Transportation: on the table where the drivers pick up their assignments
Support Services: near the front door entrance
Thank you for your support and cooperation as we work together to perform essential tasks while also protecting each other and members of our greater community.
