SUNHATS AT SCHOOL
Just a reminder that everyone is expected to wear a bucket hat at school in Term 4. We encourage children to keep their hats at school and to make sure that they are named. We have some sun block at school, however we encourage parents to put sunblock on their children at home before they come to school. Toko School sunhats can be purchased from the office for $14.00. If your child does not have a bucket hat, they will have to sIt out on the deck by Rooms 1 and 2. No excuses.

Toko Lions Speech Competition
On Tuesday night Mackenzie ,Sharna and Slade competed in the Toko Lions speech competition. Mackenzie spoke about why all children should play sport, Slade talked about the issues regarding 1080, and Sharna presented her speech on why dogs should be on leads in public places. As well as their 3 minute speeches they were also asked to present a 1 minute impromptu speech on should children be made to go to school. It was a very close competition and they all thoroughly enjoyed themselves and would recommend that future students consider entering this competition.
