This will be accomplished by a caring and encouraging faculty and staff along with parental and community support.

FROM THE DESK OF DR. GOLDEN

I want to take a moment and welcome each of you to the 2021-2022 school year. We are unfortunately still experiencing a global pandemic. However, we are dedicated to ensuring all of our students, faculty, and staff have the safest and healthiest environment to continue life-long learning in a face-to-face setting as is our Lott Middle School mission. Our teachers have completed multiple trainings during the Summer and beginning of August to ensure all of our students will be successful as we become a one-to-one student computer school setting with Schoology as our continued learning management system. We have practiced and implemented our school-wide motto: Be Positive, Be On-Time, and Be Successful. This is to ensure the learning environment is safe, orderly and conducive to student achievement. We will continue with iReady Reading program to monitoring student achievement and growth in reading during this school year. We are implementing Into Math program in math and students will complete HMH diagnostic assessments in math to monitor student achievement and growth throughout this school year. I am extremely proud of all our students’ and teachers’ hard work and I am looking forward to the day we can have this pandemic behind us and have a traditional school experiences for our students. Go Wildcats!

CONGRATULATIONS!
