What can my child do this summer? Try Think Through Math Splash.

While students eagerly await the start of summer vacation, teachers and parents know that it can also be the beginning of the “summer slide.” Researchers say that the average child loses 1.8 months of math skills over the summer break and that it can take teachers 3 to 6 weeks of teaching to get it back. To help your children maintain all of their hard-learned math knowledge, Think Through Math is kicking off the 2016 Texas Summer Math Splash THINK Challenge to keep children engaged while building math skills and self-confidence. - Texas Education Center, 2016

See think flyer for information on how to register.

Need Math support for your accelerated student? We recommend the Middle School Summer 2016 Bridge Program.

If your student has struggled this year in either 6th or 7th Accelerated Math, we recommend they enroll now in the Middle School Summer 2016 Bridge Acceleration Program. In this course, students have the opportunity to strengthen their skills so that they are better equipped to succeed next year.
