Lost & Found - Our Lost & Found is located in TWO Locations. There is one in the gym hallway and there is another one at the entrance of the lunchroom. Please ask your child to look for lost coats or lunch boxes in these areas. The Deadline for pick up is Friday, March 31. After this date, ALL Unclaimed Coats and Lunch Boxes will be donated to the House of Harvest.

Box Tops Collection - Please clip Box Tops and return them to our school. The top class has a celebration at the end of each month throughout this school year.

Morning Car Line Procedures - Morning Car Line Procedures - Parents, we would like to ask you to please follow morning car line procedures to keep our students safe.

The car line opens at 7:15 a.m. There are hardly any cars in line from 7:25 - 7:35 a.m.; therefore, you might want to consider coming during that time frame if you have been coming later.

The car line closes at 7:45 a.m.; therefore, if you come to school at that time, you will need to park in the gravel parking lot and walk your child in. Our teachers who have car duty have other duties they have to go to each morning promptly at 7:45 a.m., so the Closed Sign will go up as soon as the car line closes. If you pull through the car rider line and see this Closed sign up, it will not be safe to drop your child off because there will be no teacher on duty and the doors will be locked. Therefore, you will need to pull to the front and check your child in. Thanks for following car line procedures.

**MORE Exciting Happenings at Harvest...

Project Lead the Way - A hands on approach to teaching science. This is a grant that we are involved with which will help our students get involved with learning and creating. We received 50 New iPad Air 2's through the PLTW grant. These will be given to 3rd - 5th grade classrooms participating in PLTW.

UAH STEM Grant - Our school is partnering with UAH engineering students to participate in a STEM grant. This will fall in line with the new Maker Spaces students began doing in the library last school year.

The UAH students have completed the marble roller coaster and will be delivering it soon for our ACE students to utilize first, but other students will get to experience it as well before the end of the school year.

Title I - Our school has officially been labeled as Title I which will benefit our students. The government will give Harvest Title I funds this fall which will be used for Professional Development, Technology, and other resources. We recently received 24 New iPads from Title 1 funding. The Library Media Center received a Promethean Board and Projector. Our students and teachers participated in a Writing Lesson provided by Title 1 funds, also.

NEW Webpage - We are using an Edlio webpage. You can access teacher canvas pages from this New webpage. However, please be patient with us as we have to rebuild our entire webpage. Here are the links below:
