CAR LINE PROCEDURES

1. A.M. Car Line is 7:10 - 7:40 a.m.

2. P.M. Car Line Begins After our buses leave. Buses begin loading at 2:30 p.m.

3. Please have Lunch Money In Child's Backpack. Do Not wait until you're at the Gym Unloading Area.

4. Go ahead and give your child a Hug and Kiss while you wait in the Car Line instead of at the Gym Unloading Area!
5. Please Unbuckle your Child from his/her Car Seat while you wait in the Car Line. It'd be better than waiting until you arrive at the Gym Unloading Area.
6. Ask your Child to be Ready to Exit the Vehicle as soon as you see the Teachers at the Gym Unloading Area.
7. To Ensure Your Child's Safety, Do Not Allow your Child to Exit the Vehicle Without an Adult Present.
8. For your Child's Safety, we ask you to Seat him/her on the Passenger Side (backseat).
9. Please Do Not Pass Another Vehicle in the Car Line. Failure to do so, could result in a Child Injury.

10. Please Take Care of Homework Papers, Signatures, Fundraisers, or Folders as you wait Instead of at the Gym Unloading Area.

  • Socks and Tennis Shoes (gently used)
  • Snacks for those students who don't have one (Remember, Publix has Buy One Get One)

PTO Info

Our PTO is selling Harvest School T-shirts. You can place your order for t-shirts. Please send money in an envelop with name, teacher name, and label PTO School T-shirt. We accept cash, check, credit cards and debit cards. Deadline is August 28, 2017.

Substitutes Needed!

Please Sign Up to Substitute if you are interested! If you know anyone who is interested, please let them know the Deadline is August 31, 2017.

Our School System provides registration for Certified and Non-Certified substitutes twice each year. You can access the substitute information from our School System Website (link below). Also, there's a link to our school system ad.

Box Tops Collection - Please continue to clip Box Tops and return them to our school when we return to school in August.

Project Lead the Way (PLTW)

Project Lead the Way - A hands on approach to teaching science. This is a grant that we are involved with which will help our students get involved with learning and creating. We received 50 New iPad Air 2's through the PLTW grant. These have been given to 3rd - 5th grade classrooms participating in PLTW.

UAH STEM Grant

UAH STEM Grant - Our school has partnered with UAH engineering students to participate in a STEM grant.


The UAH students have completed the marble roller coaster and delivered it. We will make opportunities for all students to participate with this STEM activity.

Title 1 Info

Title I - We are a Title I School which benefits our students. The government has given Harvest Title I funds this year which will be used for Professional Development, Technology, and other resources. We received 24 New iPads from Title 1 funding. The Library Media Center received a Promethean Board and Projector. Our students and teachers participated in some Writing Lesson provided by Title 1 funds, also.

We received 2 mobile lab carts with chrome books this Summer, and we are excited to be able to use these in 2017 - 2018.
