Where Learning Takes Flight

Congaree Families,

Can you believe we have completed six weeks of the school year and find ourselves welcoming in the month of October? We have faced many hurdles making the back-to-school season challenging to say the least. As we enter a new season, we will continue to embrace the challenges we face together. Hopefully we will also enjoy some cooler temperatures and many other joys of fall.

We are really excited about the turn out that we had at Open House and we plan on having more events in the future. Parents, thank you to all of those that have joined PTO and those that have volunteered to serve on SIC. Please look for the SIC ballot for chair nominees to be posted on bright arrow as well as social media.

We ask that you support our parent liaison, Ms. Myers, with her Pastries with the Parent Liaison event, Red Ribbon Week, and other school wide events. We will be continuing to tackle attendance as we are seeking to reclaim every minute of lost instructional time from tardies, early dismissals, and absences. This will be a common theme in every correspondence that is sent during this year.

We are approaching the end of the 1st nine weeks and report cards will be coming home soon. Please contact your child’s teacher with any questions regarding their performance in the classroom.

We thank you all for making Congaree one of the best schools in the state of South Carolina. Once again thank you for choosing B.O.L.D Airways: Where Learning Takes Flight!

Respectfully,

Mr. Dickey
