**Important Change Coming for Substitute Access to the FISD Network Drives...
Due to security changes, the generic campus substitute accounts will have more restricted access to network drives. Subs using the generic campus login will not be able to access the W: drive and will only have access to the Substitute folder on the campus Share drive. When this occurs, If you need to leave files, links, etc. for your substitute, they will need to be placed inside the Substitute folder on our campus Share drive. This is being rolled out in stages and will affect our campus in the next week or so. I will update you as I get more information.
**Mac_ECS iTunes account...
SLC, ALC, & PPCD classroom iPads no longer have access to the login credentials for the Mac_ECS iTunes account. Please only submit a helpdesk ticket for updating apps if any of them stop working.
Technology Shout-Out...
Cordon's Kids Create!
Look at these cute 'We are Thankful' creations Donna Cordon's kiddos made just before Thanksgiving. They used the app ChatterKid to create the talking turkeys, uploaded them into the Book Creator app, and then shared with parents in Seesaw.
I would love to share what you are doing with technology in your classroom. If you have templates, pictures, links, or student samples you would like to share please send them my way.
Seesaw Greatness...
I have created a couple Seesaw activities that you can save and use with your own students for Sorting along with a counting activity. To access them, click on the links below, and then click the blue 'Save Activity' button in Seesaw.
You can then share them with your students as is, or customize them to meet your classroom needs. *Please note that on your computer, the emojis may show up all black and white, but they should appear correctly on the student iPads.
I will continue to create activities for upcoming skills you are teaching and share them with you, but if you have something specific in mind that you'd like me to create, just let me know. If you would like to use them with your students and need assistance doing so, please let me know that as well. I'm happy to come help you.
If you would like to start creating your own activities, click on this link. It is a fabulous and short webinar that shows you how to do so! And this link is a list of shortcuts to use when creating activities. To access these recordings, just fill out the fields with your first & last name and email and click Register. When you do, the video will start playing.
