What are Jews? (Judaism Followers)
Jews are Judaism followers. The goal of Judaism is to live a good life according to the laws of Torah.Torah is one of their holy books the other holy book is the Tenakh. Some Jews only eat kosher foods which is anything that does not have pork, shellfish, or mixing of milk and meat products. A Bar Mitzvah is when a boy turns 13, it is a Bat Mitzvah is when a girl turns 12 they become an actual Judaism follower. Jews worship in a synagogue. Their worship leader is a rabbi which is a teacher of Torah and a guide. The holidays that they celebrate are Rosh Hashanah which the new year and when the fasting begins, Yom Kipper is when the fasting ends, Passover is when the Angel of Death "passed over,"Hanukkah celebrates miracle of oil lasting 8 days when only enough for 1 day. The holy city is Jerusalem where the first Jewish Temple is. The common figure among all three religions is (Christianity, Judaism, and Islam)The God of Abraham. All three religions believe that there is one only one God.(monotheism)
