Big picture

Bus Updates

Thank you for your patience as we are dealing with the doubling of buses 2 and 4. The county is working diligently to solve this problem. We appreciate your patience and help in transporting your students to school each day.

Arrival and Instruction Time

Thank you to parents/guardians for getting your students to school on time. The back doors open at 7:15 and class begins promptly at 8:00. Morning music begins at 7:51 signaling that students need to finish gathering supplies from their lockers with announcements to follow. All students need to be in their seats ready to learn at 8:00.

SRO Rusty Parker

Welcome to Deputy Rusty Parker, our new school resource officer. Deputy Parker began his WMS journey on August 13. We are grateful to the Marion County Commissioners for their support in placing officers in all schools.

FREE breakfast is served from 7:15 - 7:45 for car riders. Late buses are allowed to eat after their students arrive. We encourage all students to go through the breakfast line even if they have already eaten at home. The more participation we have, the more likely we are to be able to continue to offer breakfast (and lunch) at no cost to our students next school year.
