1930s fashion
Women's Fashion
Back in the 1930s, women's "casual" wasn't so casual. Their version of casual is our version of "dressy". what t shirts and shorts are to us today, were dresses and pearls to women in the 1930s.
Women's "dressy" was long dresses, and big hats. The women were dressed up very often, very rarely did they go "casual".
Mens fashion in the 1930s
Men casually wore slacks, or trousers with button up shirts and dress shoes, belts, and occasionally ties or suspenders. Hair was tradtitionally clean cut, slick back.
Mens Formal Wear
Mens formal wear was similar, though they wore suits and ties and nice accsesories like watches, or carried nice pocket watched (on chains).
