Jr. Highs Helping Houston
There is a great need for many items, but we have selected a few items of greatest need for our collection. Items collected have each been assigned a point value. At the end of our collection, the points will be counted and the winning school will be announced. The principal from the school with fewer points must then wear the opposing jersey during the North vs. Central football game on October 13.
Students are to bring their items to their first-period teacher and we will have each first-period class report out their points. Ultimately, we are working as a building to beat Ridgeview, but the winning first-period class will also be awarded Donuts for their donations!
Please consider helping out the victims in Houston, while at the same time, saving your principal from wearing a Pickerington Central jersey next month. Go Panthers!!

Disability Awareness Apparel
The "We Are Pickerington" Disability Awareness Tees were designed at the request of our local teachers.
The inclusion of students with all abilities into our classrooms makes our schools stand out above and beyond others. These tees celebrate this inclusion and the fact that we look beyond their disabilities at their possibilities.
Purchases made from this sale will be delivered to staff at their school buildings approximately 2 weeks after the sale closes on September 8, 2017.
Please note these Disability Awareness tees are a custom order, therefore we will be unable to process returns or refunds on these items.

CommUNITY Fair
The goal of the event is to spotlight and celebrate the diversity within Pickerington by uniting our families and CommUNITY through educational opportunities, performances, games, and crafts. This fair provides an educational opportunity for our students, both to learn about other cultures and to share elements of their own heritage with others in the community.
PLSD believes it is an important part of our district mission to celebrate the rich diversity that exists within our community, to increase understanding, and to find ways for people of all cultures and backgrounds to feel included in Pickerington Schools. This year’s fair includes local Irish dancers, student performances, a fashion show, English Learners’ projects based learning activities, food trucks, and crafts and games from around the world!
