QUARTER 4 NEWSLETTER
Hello Panthers!
Quarter 4 is here!!
Hello, students and parents! We hope you all had an enjoyable and restful spring break. We are now officially in the 4th quarter. You have worked hard all school year long, and now we are nearing the end of the school year.
Looking ahead: In preparation for the May SOLs, the student services department will be hosting a Wellness Week during the last week of April (April 25th to 29th).
Students will have the opportunity to participate in various wellness activities throughout their lunches and will also rotate through various activities during Panther Time. These activities will include music, some fitness fun, jokes, yoga, dancing, and identifying something you are grateful for.
SOL TIPS: Make sure to also get some good sleep, eat healthy, and review your assignments to be well-prepared for the SOLs.
If you have an interest in taking a summer school academic class or participating in a fun summer school program/camp, please check out the FCPS summer school website: Summer Learning | Fairfax County Public Schools (fcps.edu).
If you are a rising 9th grader, we also recommend that you check out the website of your designated high school for any important sports try-out announcements or high school orientations.
Finally, let’s give it your very best for the remainder of the school year. Should you have any questions or concerns, don’t hesitate to reach out to your school counselor.
Best wishes for a successful end of the school year, a great summer break, and for the next school year.
