Tisch's Tidbits
Animals for Ambulances
We have some amazing Girl Scouts who have spearheaded a fantastic project. They are collecting stuffed animals which will be donated to emergency workers to give to children. What a wonderful example of many lifeskills! Collection boxes are scattered around the school, so dig through all of those stuff animals and send in those that need a new home!
Music Course Selection
72 days and your child will be getting ready to head off to the middle school! Your child will be bringing home a music course selection sheet as all fifth graders must take band, choir, or orchestra. Please take a look at this and chat about it with your child, returning the selection sheet by February 24.
Jump Rope for Heart
It's time for Jump Rope for Heart! Be on the lookout for more information in your child's backpack.
Just a Note about Notes
Just a reminder to please send a note to school each time your child is staying after or has a change of plans. Even if it for an Eagle Rec course i.e. tennis, basketball, computers, it is school policy that a note come the day of. Thank you!
Famous Hoosiers
While we have not officially started discussing Famous Hoosiers, feel free to start looking for materials i.e. books, articles, looking for pieces to the costume for the Wax Museum if you would like. We will begin researching at the end of next month.
