The Falcon
Fieldstone Middle School * March 2019
Dear Parents and Guardians,
The arrival of March has certainly proven the adage that the month arrives like a lion. We're hopeful that it will end like a lamb, giving us more opportunities for outdoor recess and outdoor learning.
It's hard to believe that more than half of the school year is behind us. The second trimester will be concluding on Monday, March 18th, and report cards will be accessible via the Parent Portal on Friday, March 22nd by 4:00 PM. This point of the school year is an optimal time for students to reflect on their academic efforts. With another full trimester ahead, setting attainable learning and behavioral goals can bolster confidence and focus. On behalf of our entire staff, thank you for your continued involvement at home to support our efforts.
Please see below for additional topics of interest and the many reasons why it's great to be a Falcon!
As always, if we can be of assistance to you or your family, do not hesitate to reach out to us.
All the best,
Gina McCormack

Our goal is to collect 1,000 books!
Our students and faculty alike had a wonderful time while making a difference by jumping rope and competing in basketball games throughout the day on Friday, February 16th. Through the generosity of the Fieldstone community, over $3700 was raised to benefit the American Heart Association in support of research and medical advances to help fight heart disease. Thank you to all members of our Health and Physical Education Department for coordinating this event.
