Burnette Blast

July 2022

Welcome Back!

We are so excited to see our students very soon for the 2022-2023 school year! We are going to "tee off" to a great year!

Our theme for the 2022-2023 school year is, “Shooting for a Hole in One!” We are committed to having a great time this year, as we all work hard so we each get that hole in one!

We will continue our success in the 2022-2023 school year by providing each and every child with engaging learning experiences that are rewarding and meaningful. As we continue to prepare for the upcoming school year, I wanted to share some important information:

  • Classroom teachers will be calling/emailing parents on Monday, July 25th and Tuesday, July 26th to introduce themselves.

  • Meet the Teacher Day is Thursday, July 28th. Families are scheduled based on their last name. The Open House Tip sheet below will help you prepare for this important event.

* 8:30-10:00 Last Names A-M

* 10:30-12:00 Last Names N-Z

In order to ensure that our school building is as safe and secure as possible, our front office staff will be fully utilizing our video entry system this school year. This means you will be asked to share why you are visiting the school before you are allowed to enter the building.

We are going to have an amazing year together! I hope that you and your family have an amazing summer! If there is anything I can do to support you, please don't hesitate to reach out: 678-546-2170, sally.lehmann@gcpsk12.org.

Your Proud Principal,

Dr. Sally Lehmann
