Thanks for your time and attention during the faculty meeting yesterday. We had really great conversations and your feedback helped further clarify our direction for next semester. You are working SO hard and doing all the right things to move our students forward. Stay the course! Another break is right around the corner.
Over Thanksgiving break, the next phase of our fine arts renovation took place. Go check out the fancy floors in the orchestra room when you get a chance. It's a really nice space for the kids!
Thank you for all you do!

Hello, MISD Educators!
We are in search of TOTALLY AWESOME sessions & content facilitators for our next district-wide PD on February 17, 2020.
We want this to be a valuable learning opportunity in which teachers can learn from other teachers about effective instruction (HRS Level II). If you would like to share your passion with other MISD educators and have a TOTALLY RAD session to present, then throw on your legwarmers, pop your collar, tease your hair, and submit a session proposal, or BE SQUARE. Session proposals for February 17 should focus on engaging strategies to improve teaching and learning. If you have presented at Carnverge or any other conferences this past summer, we encourage you to replicate your presentation for February 17.
Also, we are looking for ROCKSTAR teachers that would be STOKED to facilitate a session that content Coordinators have created.
Please complete your Session Proposal, and/or Content Facilitator Form by November 15, 2019.
Kudos!
Super “shout out” to Mrs. T, Mr. Watkins, Mrs. Chlebos, Mrs. Scott, and Mrs. Buchmiller for making the Spelling Bee SO successful this year! Lynn did awesome organizing all of the logistics for the students to participate, and our word caller and judges were “on point!” Thank you again for going over and beyond to help in various places on the campus to make this happen!
You are awesome!

Thanks to Nicole for backing me up. She helped organize the Google Sheet to make it easier to check in our students and she printed out the nametags. She is always willing to help me out even if it is the last minute. -Lynn
I wanted to take a brief moment to bring to your attention, the exceptional work that Coach McNeil has done with my son. He is a kid who suffers with anxiety and sensory processing issues. He often presents as a quirky kid that is easily frustrated and sometimes disruptive.
Coach McNeil has taken his time with him and has shown compassion and patience on numerous occasions. He seeks to understand his behavior as opposed to simply getting frustrated with him. He has clearly communicated with us about our son and even suggested creative ways to help him feel more comfortable in his class.
I thought you should know about how this exceptional CMS Teacher is making a difference in our son's and thus my family’s life. -Happy Parent
To the 8th grade science classes that went and picked up trash outside of the school. Thanks for helping make our school beautiful. -Sandra
