One of the earliest fair was the Bartholomew fair in 1133
By the 18th-19th centenary's they were known as places of entertainment
What did they have?
The first ones had shows such as dance halls, restaurants, Boat-rides and other fun activities. As they improved they started to have rides and games you could take place in.
