Virtual Book Character Costume Dance Party
On Friday, October 30th, Mountain View will host a Virtual Book Character Costume Dance Party. The Costume Dance Party will take place during a scheduled break during the morning. Students may wear costumes to their virtual classrooms that represent a character from a book. Students are encouraged to show printed material for their chosen character from literature.
Our staff will observe the following procedures:
1.Students will have the option of keeping their costumes on during class if:
- the costume does not cause movement limitations.
- the parent and/or teacher has determined that the student will have a successful day in class while wearing his/her costume.
2.Costumes should be safe, fun, comfortable and in good taste (no blood, guts, or gore in costuming or masks!). If your child wears a mask, make the eye holes large enough for him/her to see clearly.
3.No toy guns, swords, sticks, or weapons of any kind.
4.The Virtual Costume Dance Party will begin:
Grades TK-3 – 10:00-10:15 a.m.
Grades 4-6 – 10:20-10:35 a.m.
5.Students must follow the same school rules during the Dance Party.
6.Your child does not need a costume to attend the Virtual Costume Dance Party.
*Participation is not required
