Clubs and Organizations Guidelines 2022-2023

Clubs and Organizations Guidelines 2022-2023

Overview- Austin HS has a wide and diverse population. As such, we have a large range of clubs for students to join and take part in.

New Procedures- Starting in the 2022-2023 school year, the following procedures will be added. The reason behind this is two-fold:

  1. Maximize the clubs with the possible number of sponsors that we have on campus
  2. Combine like clubs, so that these clubs can share ideas and work together

Rules: All clubs will need to submit a new application for the 2022-2023 school year-this will be done electronically-link will be sent soon

  • A sponsor will be able to lead no more than 2 clubs
  • A club must be led by a certified teacher, substitutes are not allowed to sponsor clubs
  • If a club is left unsupervised in the building, this is grounds for it to be disbanded for the 2022-2023 year.
  • All other FBISD and/or AHS Rules must be followed, any violation can also lead to a club being disbanded for 2022-2023

First Due Date Window: August 13, 2022—August 26, 2022

Use the link below:

See Mr. Yim with any questions.
