School Hours - 7:15-2:20

Arrival and Dismissal: Procedures for arrival and dismissal have changed significantly and must be followed exactly to maintain student and staff safety. Below are the times for arrival and dismissal. More details on procedures will be out soon.

Big picture
You will receive your schedule at this time. Follow this schedule. Make sure the new schedule is checked against the one viewed on the portal or in Schoology – sometimes changes are made before the start of the school year.

School Roadways and Parking Lots:

Pedestrians have the right of way at all times.


You may not park in the front loop at any time.


Student parking:

Students wishing to park in school lots must fill out a Student Driver Permission Form (available in the main office and on the website) the first week of school. There is a four-day grace period for parking. Student vehicles parked in the lot without a parking permit after September 11 will be towed.

Building Entrance

Only use the main entrance to enter the building. Please use the Wiedrick Road driveway and park in the North Parking Lot (not the bus loop) when you come to the building during the school day.

Students assigned to PLTW IED at the Middle School

PLTW Intro to Engineering Design class with Mrs. Ozminkowski is at the Middle School. Students with this course on their schedule should get off the bus at the Middle School and report to the Tech room. A shuttle bus will pick them up and return them to the High School for the remainder of the school day.

Early Dismissal/Student Assistants

If you have either Late Arrival/Early Dismissal or Student Assistant on your schedule, please send the contract necessary for your assignment to the Counseling Office as soon as possible (the forms are located on the website). Both are privileges that you have earned and have guidelines that must be adhered to. The contracts must be signed and returned by Friday, September 11 in order for this privilege to remain on your schedule.

Absences, Tardies and Early Dismissals:

Parents and guardians can now report their student's absence online - you can access it under the HS Parent tab or on the HS Attendance/Health Office page. If your student will be late, unable to attend or is leaving school early, please inform the Attendance/Health Office. Contact the Attendance/Health Office with questions at 315-986-3521, x3160.

Wednesday, September 9: First Day of On-site Classes at School, Group 1, Last Names A-K

Thursday, September 10: First Day of On-site Classes at School, Group 2, Last Names L-Z

Tuesday, September 15: Picture Day, Group 1

Wednesday, September 16: Picture Day, Group 2

Friday, September 18: Due date for Student Handbook Sign-off, Emergency Information Form (mailed home - copy can be requested from Main Office) and Publication/Access Form

Tuesday October 20: Picture Makeup Day and Club Group Photo Day, Group 1

Wednesday, October 21: Picture Makeup Day and Club Group Photo Day, Group 2
