Sheldrup's Grizzly Gazette
News in Room 202!
April, 2014
I hope your sixth grader enjoyed the break and that you were able to enjoy it with him/her! If found it very refreshing to get out in the warm sunshine. We will use the nicer weather as motivation to work hard in class in hope to enjoy it after school hours.
The final two months of school will be just as busy as the entire year has been. In April, we will focus on preparing for the MCA's at the end of the month. May will be filled with preparation for the commencement of middle school and celebration as 6th grade concludes.
Please contact me any time!
Warmest Regards,
Mrs. Sheldrup

We are now discussing safety of all kinds. After our safety unit, we will begin our human sexuality unit. I will send home a permission letter next week explaining the unit. Please let me know if you'd rather I have your child complete an alternative health topic during this time.
Towards the beginning of May, I will also teach our government unit. This information will be helpful as students learn about our state government and history on our State Capitol and Ft. Snelling field trips mid-may! Please contact me if you'd like to chaperone the trip and we will hold a drawing in our class to fill the spots.
