Asha for Education was founded by V.J.P. Srivatsavoy, D. Gupta, and S. Pandey. In the summer of 1991. They founded this company because they wanted to help the development of their home country, India. They saw that the education was critically bad and they wanted to help by providing good education to kids in need.

These entrepreneurs are similar to Dan Gilbert because they all saw something that was in need and then made a company/organization to fix it. They are different from Dan Gilbert because they made an organization and Dan Gilbert made a real company.
