Ronald Regan (February 6, 1911) - (June 5, 2004)
Ronald Regan was born on February 6, 1911 in Tampico, Illinois. He was born to Jack and Nellie Regan (Wilson). He chose a career in entertainment, appearing in more than 50 films. He became the president of the Screen Actor's Guild. He met his wife, Nancy Regan (Davis), while serving two terms as the governor of California. He was originally a liberal democrat but became a conservative republican over time and ran for president. In 1940, he married actress Jane Wyman. With whom he had a daughter Maureen and an adopted son, Michael. The couple divorced in 1948. He was disqualified for combat duty for poor eyesight. He left the military ranked as a captain.
On March 30, 1981, an assassination attempt was made on Ronald Regan's life as president by John Hinckley Junior after saying the quote below. The would be assassin shot three other people not fatally.
After stopping the Cold War, he retired and died on June 5, 2004.
