Iran is in the Northern and Eastern hemisphere in Asia.

In Iran, rain is scarce and precious. The climate varies in different parts of the country. People have to save up on rain water to water crops. Water sources are scattered and the population is bigger near them (water sources).

Iran has a limited government so the people have more freedom than some other countries. The GDP of Iran (Gross Domestic Product: the total value of goods produced and services provided in a country during on year) is about $990.2 billion.
Iran is gradually changing from a nominal constitutional monarchy into a theocratic democracy. There is both a Supreme Leader and a President. The President’s name is Hassan Rouhani. And the Supreme Leader’s name is Ali Khamenei.
There is NO Prime Minister
Voting age is sixteen and the president (elected by the people) works for a four-year term.

Iran's land is gifted with oil. Iran produces the 4th largest amount of oil in the world. Iran plays a huge part in oil industry. They export oil to other countries all around the world and that affects a lot of people including us all the way in the US. Some other natural resources found in Iran would be; petroleum, natural gas, uranium, coal, chromium, copper, iron ore, lead, manganese, zinc and sulfur.
Like all the other countries in the world, Iran is getting more and more polluted.

Tehran transportation is difficult because it is a big city and there is lots of traffic. The Persian Gulf is located right under Iran so water transportation is available.

Iran is filled with mountains and plateaus. It is dominated with the Elburz Mountains in the north and the Zagros Mountains in the western borders.
Lake Urnia is located in the far northwest and Karun is located in the southwestern corner of the country.
Iran's highest point would be Mt. Damavand which reaches 18 934 feet or 5 771 meters.

Summary: There is more than potential for nuclear weapons and armament in Iran, and John Kerry says that Washington continues to have doubts about Iran and their willingness to take back their nuclear program.
Effect: Both sides (the West and Iran) are not coming to an agreement. Riots around and in Iran, either agreeing or disagreeing with President Rouhani. The West are hoping to negotiate and some people in Iran do not want that while others are totally up for it.
