"ENHANCING OUR PRACTICE"
Expository Writing
The Introductory Paragraph- states the main idea and the supporting points of the essay. The topic sentence should be interesting and should draw the reader in.
The Supporting Details- gives us a better understanding of the points listed in the introductory paragraphs. Explain each point and give at least two examples. Each paragraph should have a different point.
The Concluding Sentences- restates the main idea and this is where you sum up your points. You should also leave the reader wanting to read more.
