Sir Francis Drake, was born July 13, 1540 in Travistock Devon, United Kingdom and died on January 27, 1596. Francis was a captain and also a navigator who shipped a lot of voyages, his nationality is Devin shire. Queen Elizabeth financed his voyages basically saying if you get caught then we don't know you. He was tasked with setting sail to Brazil where he pirated Spanish ships to get their goods and treasure. In the couple years to come, Sir Francis Drake was tasked and completed many more missions from Queen Elizabeth. Thus made Sir Francis Drake so famous. Then as all was good, Sir Francis Drake was ill and died soon after. He had a Dysentery infection that had an enormous impact on Queen Elizabeth and a lot others by having Francis completing a lot of missions for her.
