Join the KP Partnership Engagement Committeee
We believe in the power of partnership to help our students succeed and build a strong school community. We need 2-3 parents/caregivers to support our efforts by joining our Partnership Engagement Committee. To build a common understanding we are attending the CT Family Engagement Conference on October 26, 2016. The PTO will sponsor 2-3 parents to attend this conference (see flyer below) with KP teachers and administrators. Please contact Joy Wright at email@example.com or at 860-233-8230 to sign up. We need to complete registration by September 21st.

Student Opportunities/After School Information
At KP, we strive to be respectful, responsible and good citizens. KP Cares is the a community service club open to students from all grade levels who want to help give back and do good for others. We will be taking on service projects such as the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk, a holiday gift drive, the penguin plunge and more. KP Cares meets after school Tuesdays from 3-4 pm. KP Families are also welcome to participate in many of our events!! Bring a friend and help your community! Remember: Community counts, KP Cares.

Making It Real: Girls & Manufacturing Summit on Friday, October 28, 2016 from 8:30 to 1:30
The program will include exhibits and demos from Connecticut manufacturers and higher education institutions, hands-on activities, competitions, giveaways, and a very special panel of successful women in the manufacturing industry.
We have 10/25 spots left. If your child is interested, please have her check her email and register on the google form.
Does Your Child have an interest in Chess?
This program will be a combination of group lessons and supervised play & will meet on Wednesdays in the KP Library from 6:00 to 7:00PM. Please click for more information regarding the dates the Chess Program will meet and the registration form.
