When the world says, "Give up," Hope whispers, "Try it one more time." - Author Unknown
A peek into our week
Math - We focused on Place Value and are being more confident with our Number Sense. I love to hear them talk and write about their number knowledge. I hope they are sharing the fun games we play during Math Centers to also help them become more confident math students. Several of the kids are on "addition of 2's and 3's" in Math Facts. I have had small math clubs so we can work on different strategies that we will us become more fluent with these facts. Several of them are SO close. Please review this at home. Remember - they can take a practice test on their level On Line and it only takes 2 minutes!!!
Bible - We read about Ananias and Sapphira in our Bibles and had great discussions about how important it is to tell the WHOLE truth. The children are really enjoying looking up scripture and many are choosing to read their Bibles during Read to Self or Catch Up time!
Soc. Studies - We started our Unit on Making Laws but really didn't get very far. We will continue this into next week.
NO MEMORY VERSE NEXT WEEK!
