A Massive Open Online Course in which materials and instruction are online for users around the world. The courses are designed to connect instructors and learners centered around a common topic. These courses are often free.
Flipped Classroom
Students learn lessons at home and/or on their own time typically via a video or other interactive method. Classroom time is spent doing assignments with help from the teacher. Some use content from Kahn Academy for example.
Adaptive Learning
This is software that adapts its content and pacing based on the students current knowledge and performance. It is like having a personal educational trainer.
