# Party Planning

## Part A: Critical Thinking Questions

1.) Describe how you created each equation= I used the used numbers from the tables and plugged them in to Y= MX+B

2.) Will there ever be a number of students where both companies will cost the same? Describe the steps you would use and then solve for the number of students for which both companies will cost the same amount= No because if you find the unit rate you will find out that the burger bonanza place has a higher unit rate causing it to be ahead oh pizza palace.

3.) If u only have a budget of \$1000 for food, how many people, maximum, would you be able to have at the 7th Grade Blowout for each company? Can you have a decimal or fraction as part of your answer? Why or why not?= Burger Bonanza would be able to pay for 99 people when the budget is 1000\$. Pizza Palace would be able to pay for 95 people when the budget is 1000\$.

Proposed Plan: I think Mr. Jones should choose Burger Bonanza for the 7th grade party because you could fit more people for 1000\$

## Part B: Critical Thinking Questions

1.) Describe how you created each equation.= I used numbers from my table and plugged them in to Y= MX+B.

2.) Will there ever be a number of hours where both companies will cost the same? Describe the steps you would use and then solve for the number of hours for which both companies will cost the same amount.= Yes for both companies if you jump for 4 hours it will cost 300\$ i found this by looking at my table.

3.) If you only have a budget of \$750 for the bounce house, how many hours, maximum, would you be able to have at the 7th Grade Blowout for each company? Can you have a decimal or fraction as part of your answer? Why or why not?= Jumpin Jacks would be able to pay for 12 hours of jumping for 750\$. Hoppin Around would be able to pay for 10 hours of jumping when the budget is 750\$.

Proposed Plan= I think Mr. Jones should use the business Jumpin Jacks because he pays less per hours and get 2 more hours when the budget is 750\$
