Dear Parents and Families,
Teachers will be sharing narrative progress report updates this trimester to families via Seesaw, on October 5. Please check your Family Account for this important information. This style of reporting provides for a comprehensive update on all facets of your child's performance as it relates to remote learning. In reviewing the report, should you have questions or concerns, please feel free to contact your child's teacher. We deeply value your collaboration in the educational process. Your partnership is priceless.
Thank you to all who completed our Walker Remote Learning Check-in Survey. Your feedback is guiding our next steps for future parent programming, and it affords us the opportunity to make alterations to better fit the needs of our families. We expect to offer a parent program in October based on your responses.
We hope you have a wonderful weekend!

Parent Resources: Remote Learning
What do plants need to grow?
Mrs. Morales and her kindergarten class began exploring what plants need to grow. By using this fun drag and drop chart, students identified what is necessary for the development of plants. Students enjoyed this, and they knew that plants did not need donuts to grow!
Third Grade Smiles
Students from Mrs. Piekos' third grade class are all smiles during their morning session of remote learning. Participating in lessons and collaborating with peers via Zoom, allows for students to establish and become part of a strong classroom community.
Nouns Are Everywhere
First grade students are learning about nouns. As part of a Seesaw activity, students took or drew pictures of nouns. What a wonderful and creative way to demonstrate understanding of a concept!
