Report Cards & Milestones Score Reports
Greetings! Students are bringing home their report cards today, as well as their Milestone Score Reports from last Spring. Before the winter break, I emailed a document with information on how to read and interpret these reports. I have attached it to the email containing this newsletter again for your convenience. Please send the empty signed report card envelope to school with your child next week.
For those of you wondering about ITBS and CoGAT scores from this past Fall, I still have not received those score reports. You will know as soon as I do!
A Message from Ms. Pugh
Dear Parents/ Guardians,
At school this week your child participated in a personal safety lesson designed to help prevent sexual abuse. The Think First & Stay Safe™ program is a research-based program that teaches specific personal safety education by way of interactive classroom lessons, classroom posters, role playing, and corresponding activities. Think First & Stay Safe™ enables students to take an active and necessary role in protecting themselves from abuse and exploitation. We hope you will take the time to talk with your child about what to do if they are touched by someone in a way that makes them feel uncomfortable. They need to know what you want them to do. We look forward to continuing to work together to make sure your child is safe at school, at home, and in the community. If you have any questions, please feel free to call us at school.
