Pasta Bowl Extra Recess Info

What a collection...HRE collected 912 pounds of pasta! Thank you for encouraging your students to participate. Our collection was so good that we are including ALL classes in extra recess, even if you didn't make it to the goal of 10 boxes. Each recess will be held on your normal playground area from 3:00 to 3:20. We would like for teachers to deliver students to the playground area and pick them up as well. Please let us know if you have any questions.

Extra recess schedule is as follows...

  • Monday - 4th Grade
  • Tuesday - 2nd Grade
  • Wednesday - Kindergarten
  • Thursday - 1st Grade
  • Friday - 3rd Grade

HRE Building Visits

Dr. Bourff will be visiting each school this semester and would like to see instructional practices that support HSE21. Meetings have been scheduled in two hour increments. Dr. Bourff is scheduled to visit HRE on Wednesday, September 21st from 1:00 to 3:00.

Lockdown Drill

Please note that we will plan to conduct a lockdown drill this week on Tuesday. Please take some time to review procedures with your students. If you have any questions please be sure to let us know.

Arrival Notes...

As of this week, transportation had 10 bus routes without drivers. The trickle down effect for us here at the elementary level is that we have buses that arrive later than normal. So far, this hasn't caused major issues with reporting attendance but please keep it in mind as you complete attendance each day. If you have adjustments that need made to attendance after submitting in in Skyward please communicate them with Stacy in the office.

Professional Goals

Please remember that if you need some individual questions answered regarding your professional goal to schedule a time to speak with us. We're happy to help! We're thinking that the first draft of goals will be due by Friday, September 30th.
