Week of December 3rd
What's Happening?
WOW! December is here! Hard to believe Winter Break is right around the corner. This time of year is very busy with activities and instruction. Please remind your child to continue to work hard during these exciting days.
As the weather begins to get colder, it is required that students are dressed appropriately for recess in order to go outside with the group. Please encourage your child to bring a heavy coat and wear pants (not shorts) on the cold days ahead.
Don't forget to enter November reading minutes in to the online form for the Media Center. The link is below.
Penguin Patch returns this week. Please see the schedule below for your child's class buying day and time. Students should bring their money for shopping on their day.

Students have reviewed their WWI test in class and written down the retake date, 12/6, in their agendas. In order to retake this assessment students must complete the Summative Mastery Ticket and submit all attached work to me on the retake date. Remember, students are only allowed to retake 2 assessments per subject, per semester.
Next week, we will begin learning about the Great Depression. Our Great Depression test will be on 12/12. The study guide and answer key are on eClass for students to begin studying nightly.
