BHS FINAL DAYS - 05.27.2022, 05.31.2022, 06.01.2022
Friday ~ May 27th, Tuesday ~ May 31st, & Wednesday ~ June 1st are designated the FINAL DAYS for Freshmen, Sophomores, & Juniors at BHS. Memorial Day is observed on Monday, May 30th therefore no school.
Most classes will have a concluding experience to end the semester such as portfolios, projects, end of unit exams, traditional final exams, AP exams, or performance assessments. Teachers have communicated the course specifics to students. In order to give a more flexible format for students and teachers, each period will meet once for 90 minutes during the FINAL DAYS in order to wrap up the year in a format that is appropriate for that class.
BHS VOTER'S REGISTRATION DRIVE
On Tuesday, May 17, BHS will host a voter registration drive during periods 1-8 in the Commons. We’re hoping to register hundreds of students who will turn 18 by November 8th, 2022. In Illinois, any person who will be 18 by the date of the general election in November may also vote in the primary election in June. Research shows that the earlier students establish a pattern of voting, the greater the likelihood those voters will continue voting throughout their lives. Voter registration is a strictly non-partisan process that takes only a couple minutes.
To register, students: must be a United States Citizen. must be 17 years old on or before the date of the Primary Election and turn 18 on or before the date of the General or Consolidated Election. must live in the election precinct at least 30 days prior to Election Day may not claim the right to vote anywhere else. must bring 2 pieces of identification, including one with a current address. (Driver's license and student ID is the most common combo)

BHS COVID-19 Dashboard
The BHS COVID-19 dashboard shows the weekly number of positive cases and quarantine cases among students and staff at BHS.
Please note:
- A positive case is counted on the day it is reported. Every day after, it is placed in the quarantine category.
- Quarantine cases are total students and staff not attending school due to testing positive or exposure to a positive case.
- Positive cases for students are only counted for students who have been in the building for any reason (academic, athletics, clubs, etc.).
