Nile River

Location
The Nile River spreads accross Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, Congo, Kenya, Ethiopia, Eritrea, South Sudan, Sudan, and the Arab Republic of Egypt.
The Nile River has two tributaries
They are the White Nile which spreads accross central Africa and the Blue Nile which begins in Ethiopia and flows to South Sudan.

Length
6,670 km, it's the longest river in the world. Only 22% of the Nial runs through Eygpt.
History
By the banks of the river one of the oldest civilizations in the world began. The Ancient Egyptions lived and farmed along the nial, and they used the soil to produce food for themselves and their animals.
How it applies today
The Nile River has an average of 3,820 people in each square mile, ranking at one of the world's most densly populated areas.
Agriculture
The Nile is under increasing agricultural presure from Eygypt's neighboring countries to the south, Ethiopia and Sudan.
