End Of The Year Bash
Students and their families are invited to the CCE End of the Year Bash on Friday, May 13 from 3:30-5:30 at the school. You'll experience the art show, the ribbon cutting of the new gym floor, face painting, interactive murals, Douglas County library card sign up, free Kona Ice (provided by the PTO as a thank you for the great job with the recent Scurry), music, and so much more! Find more details here!
ART NEWS!
This week your student will be bringing home the “Original Works” order instructions form. "Original Works" is the company that scans your student's artistic masterpiece and allows you to order the image on a product of your choice. There are many options to choose from, and my personal favorite is the sketchbook/notebook! You will place the order directly on their website and the product will be shipped directly to your home. The deadline to place your order is June 1st. This is an important fundraiser with the proceeds going toward art supplies for the upcoming school year. Any purchase will be greatly appreciated by all the artists here at Coyote Creek.
P.S. I hope to see you all after school from 3:30-5:30 next Friday, May13th for the End of the School Bash & Art Show! Every student will have at least 1 of their favorite art pieces on display, PTO will be hosting a KONA ICE treat, plus so much more!
As always, thank you for your support of the arts.

Red Rocks Counseling presents SCREEN SANITY
We are the first ever generation of parents trying to figure out how to raise children in a technology-driven society. Red Rocks Counseling has partnered with non-profit, Screen Sanity, to bring parents a thought-provoking, informative, and entertaining FREE 60-minute webinar about digital health at 7pm MST on Wednesday evening, May 11th.
Screen Sanity will unpack expert-guided content about everything from ways to manage screen time to age-appropriately educating our kids and teens about web-based pornography. This program is designed for adults only, but offers practical ways to engage with your kids (from toddlers to teenagers) on these topics.
The webinar will be recorded and sent to registered participants afterwards. Red Rocks Counseling will also be offering optional follow-up small group support sessions to help parents process their personal experiences and situations, communicate about and implement screen wellness strategies with their family.
