What is a Emperor Scorpion?

Emperor Scorpion are one of the largest scorpion they can grow up to 6.5 inches long including the tail. The emperor scorpion can weigh up to 1.1 ounces. The emperor scorpion grows and sheds its whole body before it is fully grown. The emperor scorpion eats what ever animal it can successfully eat. Emperor scorpion are sensitive to light, they may rest in borrows and wait until prey comes. When prey comes by they create a vibration that the scorpion can sense. The emperor scorpion lives for about five to eight years. Scorpions have long been of interest to humans primarily because of their ability to give painful and sometimes life threatening stings. The emperor scorpion have been around for about 300 years.

The emperor scorpion is found in Africa. The emperor scorpion stays in the hot, humid rainforest, in their own burrows, which they dig in the soil. Emperor scorpions males and females look joust alike but the male is smaller and a little bit narrower.
