Summer Hours & Important Back to School Dates
Summer office hours for Loveland High School will be from 7am until 3pm Monday through Friday. Visitors should enter through Door #1 which is the entrance facing Rich Road. We suggest calling ahead at (513) 683-1920 to make sure that someone will be in the office to assist you. Any students needing work permits please refer to the Work Permit page of the LHS website. Work permit applications that have been completed need to be brought to the main office by the student. We will then process the application and give the student the work permit to turn in to the employer.

Congratulations to the Class of 2023!
It was an amazing day celebrating our Seniors! The ceremony is now available on the Loveland City School District's YouTube channel. Celebrate with our 2023 Tigers as they cross the stage and accept their diplomas as graduates of Loveland High School! Thank you to the Cintas Center for providing this video footage as part of our graduation ceremony partnership.
DEADLINE TO REGISTER FOR A PARKING PASS IS JUNE 30!
ATTENTION PARENTS OF THE CLASS OF 2024 AND CLASS OF 2025
Registration is ONLY OPEN to seniors and juniors who have a license by September 30, 2023.
Students who have a temporary permit but will get their license by September 30th should enter the temporary permit number on the application. Students getting their license after September 30th will need to sign up on the waiting list once they get their license. The waiting list registration will be made available after the registrations have closed. Seniors are given priority when passes are issued.
Parking passes cost $100 and will be valid for the entire 2023-2024 school year.
We ask that school fees be paid in full before registering for a parking pass. If there are questions regarding fees owed or if there are issues paying fees, or being able to purchase a parking pass, please contact Nina Monfreda at monfreni@lovelandschools.org.
Please remember that parking passes are a privilege and may be revoked at any time.
Seniors and juniors interested in purchasing a parking pass must register through an online Google Form which was emailed to the students on Wednesday, May 24th. The form is also be posted on the Daily Announcements and on the front page of Abre. While this link will open easily from a desktop or laptop computer, students who plan to use a phone to register will need the Google Drive app prior to registering. In addition, the student driver’s license must be presented when the purchase is completed on the first day of school. The form must be completed through the STUDENT’S EMAIL ACCOUNT ON THEIR GOOGLE DRIVE.
The signup period for both Seniors (Class of 2024) and Juniors (Class of 2025) is from 9:00 AM Wednesday, May 24th until 9:00 AM Friday, June 30th. All seniors who complete the registration during this period will receive a parking permit for the year. Please note: any student who has won a parking pass through a fundraising event, must still complete the form.
The number of available spots for juniors will depend on the number of spots remaining once seniors have registered; therefore, no junior is guaranteed a spot. To ensure that all juniors who register have the same opportunity to receive one of the remaining passes, the administration will conduct a random lottery with the names of all juniors who have registered. Mrs. Renner will send an email notification to their student account to all students who have been given a pass with the parking spot number, as well as pickup and payment instructions. Students not selected through the lottery process will automatically be placed on the top of the waiting list, in the order of the prior randomization, and will be notified through their student school email account should a spot become available.
Students who do not receive a parking pass for the 2023-2024 school year will have the option of parking at Phillips Park. Additional city parking is also available in the two parking lots to the left along Tiger Trail. These lots are first come first serve, and students are not guaranteed a spot each morning. Please keep these city lots clean.
Questions and/or concerns may be directed to Mrs. Renner at rennerbe@lovelandschools.org.

Is your student considering taking the ACT this summer? Here are some considerations:
- 10th graders who have completed Algebra II who test this summer may have a less busy junior year
- 11th graders may want to try for a score increase before focusing on applications and essays
If you haven't already, please be sure to watch our ACT-SAT 101 webinar from last November: https://sites.google.com/lovelandschools.org/collegeandcareerreadiness/home
Contact your child's counselor with questions. We are happy to help!
