Students helped amend and prepare beds for planting, planted fall vegetables and also planted a butterfly garden! We were able to learn about local butterflies and host plants. Thank you to everyone who contributed to the Garden Program, we appreciate everything! Looking forward to October in the Garden where students will learn more about Fall, Healthy Soil, Teamwork in the Garden, and continue to record our fall crop growth in the Garden via our Garden Records.

There will also be a Volunteer Work Day on October 15th from 9am-11am. Please come prepared to help clean up and prep the Garden for Winter. Some activities will include - sanding picnic benches, moving mulch, pulling weeds, installing roof sheeting on the pergola and hopefully starting to repair the Greenhouse so we can take classes inside the Greenhouse during winter. Please wear work clothes - long pants, closed toed shoes, hat, sunscreen and long sleeves are preferred. Ms. Elizabeth looks forward to meeting you all!
