Help us be Green - BYO!
Spring Carnival will be our greenest school fair ever, from getting through the door with your e-ticket down to the food waste in the compostable bins!
Purchase your paperless ticket in advance from TicketFlap and save a tree!
BYO food container, water bottle and even cutlery, or use our reusable plates, cutlery & cups available at the food hall!
Visit our recycle stations & talk to the WANBO team to see what can be recycled and check out how the Tech Department helps to build a greener community by recycling plastic bottles at the Island School Alliance table.
Don’t throw food waste in the bin! We will have bins for food waste that we will compost! The few disposable items we will have are all mostly compostable as well. Our friends at HK Community Composting will have a booth to tell you more about composting, promised to be fun and educational!
An action packed day - check out the programme
A group of students from Island School and Beacon Hill School take centre stage at the carnival to showcase their various talents on singing, dancing, drama, puppetry as well as Samba band and workshop, not to mention the lively playlist put together by our inhouse DJ!
For the foodies out there - International food hall
Thanks to the cooking mamas and papas, this year, we have an amazing choice of cuisines including Chinese, Japanese & Korean. There's also the Curry Corner, Pizza, Crepes and Baked Goods in the School Hall, plus a hot favorite BBQ Hot dogs galore by ETAK and Impossible burgers (plant based) at the Terrace!
