Susan B. Anthony

"Organize, agitate, educate, must be our war cry."

Women's Suffragist

Susan B. Anthony was a women's suffragist, and founder of the National Women's Suffrage Association. She was willing to take all of the risks for women's rights; From spreading awareness to illegally voting, her efforts for better treatment of women make her one of the most influential women in American history.

Deserving of a National Holiday

Susan B. Anthony deserves a national holiday celebrated on February 15 (her birthday) because of her tireless efforts for women's rights, and for her involvement in the passing of the 19th amendment, which allowed women to vote. The least we could do to honor her is to give her a holiday.

"I declare to you that woman must not depend on the protection of man, but must be taught to protect herself, and there I take my stand."
