CELEBRATIONS & GRATITUDE!
KUDOS
* Kristine & Rachel B. - Thank you for all your organization for the Encinitas Holiday Parade! We appreciate all the behinds-the-scenes work it takes to get us registered and representing! Thank you to everyone who came out, from the principals with your school teams, to the district office staff and Farm Lab team (on the awesomely decorated tractor!), to all of our employees of the year! What a fun and festive event!
* Christy & Tami - Thank you for all your tireless work to ensure our CALPADS numbers are correct for our CBEDS data! These two ladies are at the fore-front of the county, working to ensure that SPED numbers are accurate in multiple systems. THANK YOU!

Chris Juarez, Principal FV
- I spent a summer traveling the country with my dad when I was 6. Before we even got to L.A. (from San Diego), he pulled out a map to quell my endless “Are we there yet?” I navigated the rest of the 7500 miles - and have been in love with maps and the road ever since!
- I graduated with a Financial Services degree (SDSU) but figured I should just skip the part about making a bunch of money before switching careers.
- I have hiked literally EVERY mile of trail in Yosemite’s high country – my church!
- For about 10 years, I lived the absurd mantra of “embrace the pain” (in long-distance running, biking, triathlons). Up until, as a friend put it, I began “the greatest endurance event of your life”… raising these kids!
- I have all three of my girls starting kindergarten this year & next. (Carrie, get ready for the Juarez girls!)
