Please provide updated Action Plans to the health office as soon as possible

Allergy, asthma health documents must be on file with the health office in order for your student to self-carry and/or maintain medication in the health office.
- Epipen
- Inhaler
Please provide a seizure health action plan, even if your student does not require emergency medication. This plan is the doctor’s order and gives me the best information to provide care to your student.
Does your student require daily medication during school hours? Please provide the Authorization for medication form, competed by your health care provider. Student are not to be carrying any medication either prescription or over the counter (OTC). Parents must bring medication accompanied by authorization for medication form to the health office.
We no longer stock Acetaminophen in the health office, all medication must be provided by families and will be maintained in the health office for your student’s use only.

Parking!
PARKING REMINDER
Painted spots in the student parking lot are reserved. If you are a senior and did not reserve a spot, please park in any of the unpainted spots. If you are a junior, you can park in any of the unpainted spots.
SENIOR RESERVED PARKING SPOTS AVAILABLE
We have 10 pre-painted parking spots that can be purchased for $25 if the student has purchased the year-long parking pass. Purchasing the pre-painted spot will ensure that the student has a RESERVED spot for the entire year. If a student does not have a reserved spot, they will be able to park in any unpainted spot. If you would like one of these spots, please email Ms. Menna at michelle.menna@lcps.org. Spots will be available on a first-come, first served basis. Monday is the LAST day to reserve one of the pre-painted spots.

UNDERCLASSMEN PICTURES SEPTEMBER 8 & 9
Ninth, tenth and eleventh graders will have their pictures taken for the yearbook and IDs on September 8 & 9. Ninth and tenth graders will go to the photographer with their PE teacher and eleventh graders will go to the photographer with their English teacher. If students do not have a PE class, they can go to the photographer during their study hall, or from 8:45-9:15. If you have any questions, you can contact underclass@vosphoto.com.

The yearbook staff will design the ad and send parents a proof. Theatre Meet and Greet – 8/31 at 4pm: All students, new and returning, are welcome to attend our Theatre Meet and Greet on August 31st from 4pm – 5pm. You’ll have an opportunity to meet the theatre teachers, meet other students, and learn about RRPA, as well as play a few theatre games.
Breakfast on Stage – 9/8 at 8:40am: RRPA will be hosting “Breakfast on Stage” with bagels, doughnuts, waffles, and fruit starting at 8:40am on September 8th. Anyone is welcome. It will be on a first come first serve basis.
Fall Play Auditions and Tech Crew Interviews: 9/8 or 9/9 from 4pm – 5:30pm - Auditions and Interviews for our Fall Play will be September 8th and 9th from 4pm – 5:30pm. No need to prepare anything! Just be ready to have some fun!

Welcome back! It's time to revitalize OUR school, build CommUNITY, inspire creativity, social connection, educational collaboration, and more! To do that, our goal is to raise $50,000 to transform the interior courtyard and other spaces on campus to promote the mental health, wellness, and social/emotional learning of our students. Funds raised will also be used to invest in student clubs, educational opportunities and classroom learning in an effort to empower our staff and students to R.I.S.E. UP and bring our school back to life! The Phoenix is rising!

Welcome to Career Center NEWS!
Freshmen & Parents – I send this newsletter out every Friday evening. While a lot of the information is geared to seniors and juniors preparing for life beyond RRHS, there will be information applicable to you. For example, in this newsletter you will find information about the Virginia Aerospace Programs and upcoming newsletters will include info on Governor’s Summer Program, field trips to ACL and other events. It’s also a great way to get an idea of what is head of you.
