PTO and Site Council

As we enter into December, the last month of 2021, Humboldt's PTO is preparing to ramp up our fundraising efforts for this spring. PTO is responsible for a majority of the planning and preparations for the Senior Lock-In. We have had small sales at school to fundraise but we will also be contacting businesses in our community within the next few months for their support as well. We would love support in the form of monetary donations or gift certificates, even "prizes" that will be used to make the night special and fun for our seniors.

We are asking any parents, but especially the parents of seniors to contact us if you are able to volunteer your time or ideas as we work to make this party memorable. If you have a business or know business owners that would be willing to help please let us know!

We invite any parents that would like to attend and learn more about PTO and what this committee can provide to our school and students, to join us tomorrow. We will be meeting at 5:30 for a light snack and the meeting will begin at 6pm.

PICTURE DAY IS THIS FRIDAY!

Reminder that school pictures are being taken this Friday, December 3, 2021. For the most part, pictures will be taken during English classes. Student Yearbook Staff will be handing out flyers on Monday with a reminder for students. It is expected that all students will have photos taken even if they don't purchase a package. These photos will be used to update campus and such. Please visit mylifetouch.com to order your pictures. If needed, Retake Day: December 16, 2021.

Thank you in advance for your patience!!

From The Attendance Desk:

Winter is fast approaching, and the season can be extreme. However, students are expected to attend school every day and on time unless the district declares a snow day or cold weather day closure. You can access school closures on the spps.org website.

If your child is absent from school due to snow and/or cold weather without the district declaring closure he/she would be marked absent unexcused.

Also, you will be notified by phone from the district if there is a school closure. Therefore, have a current phone number for your child on file at the school.
